Marketing Society Awards
In its 40th year, the Marketing Society Awards spotlight industry brilliance and recognise achievements in creativity and innovation. As one of the longest-running marketing awards, it celebrates the power of marketing and its ability to help drive business success.
This year, in partnership with The Gate, The Very Group has been shortlisted in four categories, showcasing its commitment to excellence. The work to transform the brand, which includes the introduction of the ‘Let’s make it sparkle’ proposition, the fl-amazing fluent devices and the Haus of Flamingo creative platform, has been shortlisted for:
- Brand Communication (large £15m plus)
- Creative Strategy
- Brand Transformation
- Judge’s Choice – most inspirational story
Katie Kinchin-Smith, head of brand at The Very Group, commented: “Being shortlisted for an award is always exciting, but to have been shortlisted for four is an incredible achievement! Over the last 18 months we’ve doubled down on our brand strategy and marketing activity, focusing on a consistent approach to creativity and harnessing the power of our much-loved flamingo fluent devices, so to have the hard work of the team and our partners recognised is wonderful.”
40 under 40
Catherine O’Toole, head of marketing at Very Ireland, which is part of The Very Group, has been recognised as one of the leading marketing professionals in Irelands. She has been named in dmg media Ireland’s 40 under 40 list, which spotlights the top talent working in the Irish marketing industry.
Catherine commented: “I’m both delighted and very proud to be included on the 40 under 40 list, alongside so many inspirational professionals leading the way in the Irish marketing industry. In my role at The Very Group, I’m surrounded by incredible colleagues who inspire me daily and I’m grateful to have had such great role models throughout my career.”
