The Very Group duo named among top 100 women to watch in 2025

March 6, 2025

The Very Group’s chief people officer, Sarah Willett, and head of logistics, Jag Collier, have both been named among the top 100 in the WiHTL Women to Watch index.

Now in its seventh year, the Women to Watch in Hospitality, Travel, Leisure and Retail Index, celebrates senior women leaders and their impact across the industry. Those named in the list, including Sarah and Jag, demonstrate a commitment to being role models and inspiring women.

Having joined The Very Group 15 years ago, Sarah has been an integral part of the people team from day one. In 2019, Sarah joined The Very Group’s executive team and her leadership has been instrumental in leading the business’s DE&I initiatives and helping to create a workplace where every colleague feels welcomed, represented and valued.

Jag joined The Very Group in 2019 as a senior operations manager before being promoted two years later to the head of site operations. In August 2023, Jag’s remit expanded further to focus on both inbound and outbound logistics, helping to keep Very’s distribution centres running effectively. Jag is an advocate of development, mentoring and coaching, especially championing women in operations roles. Through her work with The Very Group’s RAVE (Race at Very) colleague network, Jag has been a leading voice in our D&I journey.

Tea Colaianni, Founder and Chair, WiHTL & Diversity in Retail said “It's really exciting to launch our sixth 2025 Women to Watch in Hospitality, Travel, Leisure and Retail Index in partnership with The MBS Group. With EDI in the spotlight this year, it is more important than ever that we continue to acknowledge and celebrate the many truly inspirational examples of women blazing a trail in their field. They are a huge inspiration for all the women coming after them who will join, progress and lead our industry in the future. Congratulations to all of the brilliant women role models featured in the 2025 Index!”

Commenting on the recognition, Sarah Willett said:I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some truly inspiring women throughout my career, and for myself and Jag to be recognised as part of the WiHTL Women to Watch Index is incredible.

“Here at Very, we’re committed to having a workplace which is inclusive, where everyone feels inspired to be their true selves and Jag and I, alongside our colleagues, will continue to make sure DE&I remains a focus for the business.”
